    Day 2AntiguaMONDAY or THURSDAY- ANTIGUA : Morning private tour of Antigua, the former Spanish Colonial Capital of the country and today a national monument of the Americas. You will see and visit houses and mansions, churches, convents, monasteries and other important colonial buildings. (AB)
    Day 3AntiguaTUESDAY or FRIDAY- ANTIGUA : Day at leisure to explore Antigua's cobblestone streets and its preserved churches, convents and mansions built in the 1600s and 1700s.     Day 4ChichicastenangoWEDNESDAY or SATURDAY ANTIGUA- CHICHICASTENANGO : Noon departure for one of the most famous indigenous markets in all the Americas - Chichicastenango - Overnight at hotel Maya Inn. (AB)
    Day 5Lake AtitlanTHURSDAY or SUNDAY- CHICHICASTENANGO-ATITLAN : One of the main reasons for a trip to Chichicastenango is to participate in the market, which is held only twice a week and deserves its fame. You will also see the church of Santo Tomas where the Mayan Quiche natives observe unique religious customs. Afternoon depart to Lake Atitlan with a visit to village of Panajachel. Overnight at boutique hotel Atitlan. (AB).
    Day 6GuatemalaFRIDAY or MONDAY ATITLAN- GUATEMALA : Morning motor-launch trip on Lake Atitlan - "one of the most beautiful lakes in the world". with its 3 volcanoes in the background -San Pedro, Toliman and Atitlan. You will visit one of the twelve interesting indigenous lake shore villages. Their inhabitants are for the most part descendants of the Cakchiquel and Tzutil Indians. Mid-day continue to Guatemala for overnight at Hotel Westin Camino Real. (AB)
