Built originally as a bank in 1924 and more recently converted to a very upscale banquet facility, it's been the location for events featuring such dignitaries and celebrities as President Barack Obama, Elton John, Bradley Cooper, Martha Stewart, il Divo, Britany Spears, Steve Martin and Alicia Keys. The party begins at 8am. Breakfast will be served throughout the morning - and the 6th Avenue doors will open right out onto the sidewalk for a fantastic view of the balloons, floats, bands and celebrities.

Note: There are no window views from inside the venue but there is easy access to the sidewalk

 

Parade Party Details

LOCATION: Gotham Hall is located on 36th Street between Broadway and 6th Avenue. The main entrance to the event is on Broadway. There is no entrance on 6th Avenue. Those doors are reserved for exit to the street to watch the parade.

CHECK-IN: Check-in will begin at 8am. Coat check is available inside the venue.

EARLY ARRIVALS: There is no need to arrive extra early since the doors to Gotham Hall will not open until 8am. There are no preferred or pre-reserved tables since there are no views of the festivities from inside the venue.

TELEVISION: There will be a large projection screen if you prefer to view the parade inside.

PARADE DETAILS: The parade begins at 9am uptown on Central Park West. When the parade reaches Columbus Circle (Central Park West at 59th Street) it turns left for 2 blocks to 6th Avenue. At 6th Ave. it turns right and marches over 1 mile down 6th to pass right in front of Gotham Hall. After it passes our vantage point it continues 2 blocks to Macy's at Herald Square before it turns onto 34th Street and ends.

STREET VIEW: The 6th Avenue sidewalk area is right outside the doors of the venue. You may come and go as you please.

ALTERNATE VIEWS: You can exit the venue on the Broadway side and walk 2 short blocks down to Herald Square to get another close-up view of the parade.
