Today we’re going to take a look at where, when and how you can get back to fun
#1 OKAY, HOW DO I GET BACK TO FUN?
Some folks may be wondering how exactly you cruise these days. The good news: getting yourself aboard a Carnival cruise isn’t really that much different! If you’re fully vaccinated against COVID, you can sail now. (But definitely book soon, since there aren’t many rooms left for 2021!) This includes cruises during the holidays — we go all-out for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's with unforgettable events.
#2 SOUTH FLORIDA’S TWO NEW SHIPS
Listen up, South Florida… or anyone who can get there: our two newest and most innovative ships sail from your backyard. As you know, Mardi Gras has finally kicked off sailings from Port Canaveral (you couldn’t have missed news this big!) And amazing ship #2, the new Carnival Celebration, sets sail from Miami in 2022 — that’s our 50th birthday!
#3 MORE FUNSHINE-STATE NEWS
You know, we’re actually not done telling you about good stuff that starts in Florida! Fun vacations get going all up and down the east coast of this sunshiny state: we’re talking cruises from Miami, Port Canaveral and Jacksonville. Oh, and let’s not forget who’s repping the Gulf Coast: it’s Tampa cruises! Two whole coasts of fun.
#4 FROM GALVESTON, TOWARD FUN
If you’re thinking of cruising from Galveston, good thinking! That idea can take you to all sorts of great places… like down to the Caribbean, but remember that you’ve got your choice of cruising the Eastern Caribbean or Western Caribbean. And if you’re looking for a really unique cruise, we have one scheduled from Galveston to the legendary Panama Canal — yes, only one. You’ll want to jump on this one fast!
#5 ALASKA? COOL! IN THE SUMMER? GETTING WARMER…
Speaking of Alaska, turn your next summer vacation in an unexpectedly cool direction. Cruises are now available for 2022 and 2023, and Alaska checks so many boxes for folks looking for a radically different type of summer scenery. Glaciers, anyone? Pack a sweater!
#6 YOU HAVE TIME TO CRUISE… AND WE’LL PROVE IT
Go grab your calendar… we’ll wait. Okay, if you can find three free days in a row, that means you’ve got time for a Carnival cruise! Some of our most popular cruises are five days or less, and take it from us: these short cruises are no less fun that the longer ones!
#7 SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA HAS OPTIONS FOR YOU
So, let’s say you’re going to cruise from LA (well, technically Long Beach, which is nearby). Can we just say… 1) great choice! and 2) great ships! That’s right, two of our newest sail from here. Choose Carnival Panorama or the transformed Carnival Radiance, and take them to some amazing destinations like Baja Mexico or the Mexican Riviera. (Bonus: a third ship, Carnival Miracle sails to Alaska or Hawaii!)
#8 DESTINATIONS THAT TAKE YOU RIGHT TO THE FUN
Any Carnival cruise is fun, but not all cruise destinations are the same! This is true, but there’s a collection of spots where it’s actually extra-true — places where the exclusive amenities make it a great place to spend a cruise day. We’re talking spots like Half Moon Cay, Amber Cove, Mahogany Bay, Princess Cays and Grand Turk. Step off the ship and so much of the good stuff is right there, meaning you’re just so close to the fun!

And, of course, what is yachting without the proper water toys? Guests can enjoy the Watersports Marina for some fun in the sun. You can also simply enjoy swimming in the blue waters and taking advantage of SeaDream’s floating island and trampoline.

Nighttime Aboard SeaDream
By night, music and a lively social atmosphere fills the yacht. Mingle with your friends and family or your newly made SeaDream friends at the Top of the Yacht Bar for breathtaking views with your favorite cocktail. The night sky transforms the deck to a memorable night.
If you’re feeling lucky, begin your evening entertainment with a hand at the Blackjack table in the Casino on Deck 4. Just steps away, enjoy an after-dinner drink at the Piano Bar, a relaxed and social lounge area where you enjoy listening to live guitar and piano music. Request your favorite tune and feel free to sing along. Or should you wish for something quieter, take refuge in the library for a good read from our large selection of books or challenge a fellow yachtsman in a selection of board games.
SeaDream may also host one of its signature Starlit Movies, in which the pool deck becomes your cinema under the open night sky. Sandals Royal Curacao
Where Amazing Comes Together
Curacao, desired for its unique blend of cultures and colorful architecture, Curaçao locals embrace Dutch culture, architecture, and flavors. With stable, year-round temperatures between 72 and 82 degrees, there is no shoulder season in Curaçao. Any time of year, our doors will be open, and our waters warm.
Sandals eighth Caribbean destination, the island of Curaçao is home to seventy dive sites and exotic marine ecosystems. Sandals new resort will be home to 351 luxury rooms and suites, expansive new pools, two onsite marinas, and the largest meeting space on the island, clocking in at 38,000 square feet.
Another Sandals “First,” guests in these debut suites will receive the keys to a complimentary convertible MINI Cooper, their very own stylish and sporty transportation to explore the island.

Alongside Sandals fan-favorite room categories, Sandals Royal Curaçao will boast two new luxurious suite categories, the Awa Seaside Butler Bungalows and the Kurason Island Poolside Butler Bungalows.
In Curaçao, take your flip-flops through a selection of the island’s thirty-five white sandy beaches, each with a personality and flair of its own. Playa Knip, Playa Lagun, Klein Curaçao, and Playa Porto Mari are just a few of the options lining the 171-mile island. With so many options on one quaint island, the chances of walking onto your own private beach are delightfully high.
Off the beach, walk Aloe Vera plantations, learn about local herbal remedies, stop by the largest ostrich farm outside of Africa, and kick back at authentic roadside bars tucked into the island’s winding roads. Romance and relaxation aren’t exclusive; adventure is a worthy aspect of any romantic vacation. For a fresh adrenaline rush, jump on high-speed ATVs and venture through the island’s rugged terrain before parking and exploring ancient temples under the stars.
In the capital city of Willemstad (A UNESCO World Heritage Site), stroll through the colorful Dutch-inspired streets and see one-of-a-kind murals and street art, representative of the warm island culture.
